The Haiku Pathway was conceived and curated by Miriam Sagan, and physically created by Christy Hengst.  Each high-fired "stone" has one Haiku on it by a poet associated with New Mexico.
The Haiku Stones are permanently installed in the central courtyard of Santa Fe Community College, lining sidewalks and pathways, and in one area, appearing as a fairy ring of Haiku mushrooms around a tree.
The project was sponsored by the SFCC Foundation's Art on Campus Program, and supported by the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry.
